A magazine in Thailand recently featured Kim Hyun Joong holding a fan meeting in Bangkok.

[News] The Generosity of SS501's Kim Hyun Joong and JYP Nation
Just yesterday we were lauding the wonderful donation efforts of the five-year strong members of Girls’ Generation. Well somebody must have caught the generosity bug, because SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong and the cast of artists in JYP Nation have stepped up their giving game.
After hearing about donations made by his Kim Hyun Joong Powerful S My Club fan group, Kim Hyun Joong (current solo artist formerly of SS501 fame) decided to second their motion. On August 3, ten million Won (~$8860) was donated to South Korea’s Beautiful Foundation by his fans, so Kim Hyun Joong decided to donate ten million Won of his own in response. The Beautiful Foundation’s “vision of a world filled with affluent beauty, where extremes of wealth and poverty are eliminated” is just one among many of the group’s philanthropic campaigns. And now, with 20 million Won to move some of their agendas forward, they can now support the elderly currently suffering a debilitating South Korean heat wave.
Think that’s awesome?
JYP Nation received an amazing donation from their recent concert in Seoul recently too. After a night of thrilling performances on August 4, a whopping 7.41 tons of rice were donated as a result of the night’s proceeds as well as the efforts of JYP Nation’s many fan clubs. In a showing of generosity not uncommon for JYP Entertainment (who have made donating to charity an honored tradition), nearly 61,500 undernourished youths will be fed.
How heartwarming is that?
