[Article] Kim Hyung Jun Becomes TV Star with ‘Melody of Love’
KBS 1TV’s ‘Melody of Love’ is a story of three families that realize how precious their families are after hurting others and regretting that. The TV series deals with the passions and dreams of the young people who work at a musical company.
Kim Dasom of Sistar, Baek Sung-hyun, Hwang Sun-hee and Kim Hyung Jun are the young couples in the drama. Kim Hyung Jun’s work is especially remarkable. He has born again as a successful actor from a boy-band member.
Tae-kyoung is always generous to others but very strict to himself and a perfectionist. But he is a romantic guy when in love. Han Tae-kyoung suffered a vocal cords injury so he had to give his dream to become a play actor. He is now a famous musical producer who only produces original plays.
Kim Hyung-jun starred in KBS’s ‘Glowing She’, SBS Plus’s ‘I Love You’ and MBC’s ‘Pots of Gold’. He is becoming a proper actor. ‘Melody of Love’ will be remembered as his successful drama.
The viewers are highly interested in how Han Tae-kyung and Gong Soo-im will settle the conflicts over them and have a happy ending.
‘Melody of Love’, which records 30% of ratings, will end with the 152nd episode.

[Article] Kim Hyung Jun to Join SISTAR's Dasom as Male Lead in New KBS Drama 'Love Through Song'
Kim Hyung Jun has been cast in the upcoming KBS 1TV drama 'Love Through Song'!
His agency confirmed the casting on the 25th, revealing that the signer-turned-actor will play the role of musical producer Tae Kyung who is a perfectionist when it comes to work but when it comes to everything else, he is a gentle and supportive guy. He will cross paths with SISTAR's Dasomwho will play the role of Song Deul Im who is an aspiring musical actress.
'Love Through Song', directed by PD Lee Duk Gun and written by Hong Young Hee, will center around three families who grow as people as they reflect on the pain they've caused others and come to the realization about how lucky they are to have one another.

In MBC's popular drama 'Gold' Kim Hyung Jun cried tears that represented the pain and the struggle of the 3.5 million unemployed young adults in Korea.
On the episode aired on May 11, Mong Gyu, played by Kim Hyung Jun, met with his mother to move out and live on his own. Struggling to find a job in his late twenties and colliding with his dad who recently retired and spends much of his time at home, Mong Gyu confessed that he could not stand taking allowance at his age. But with unstable finances, his mom rejected his plan. Heartbroken, he cried, "I want to work so badly but no one wants to hire me. Certificates and good grades do not help one bit. Who can understand what I am going through? Absolutely no one."
Starting with a very small role near the beginning, Kim Hyung Jun has steadily proven that he is capable of becoming a great actor. Slowly but surely, he has won the approval of the public and is on his way to establish an acting career that is rare for idol group members.

[News] Kim Hyung Jun Cast in the New Drama ‘Gold, Appear!’
Fans will be seeing SS501‘s Kim Hyung Jun on their television screens soon again. The idol star has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama ‘Gold, Appear!‘ (‘I Summon You, Gold!‘).
Kim Hyung Jun will play the role of Han Ji Hye‘s younger brother Mong Gyu, an unemployed post grad with cute charms and a carefree attitude.
Also starring in the drama are Yeon Jung Hoon, Lee Soo Kyung, and Lee Tae Sung. Son Dam Biis also in talks to star in the upcoming drama.

The singer-turned-actor has been cast for a role in director Kim Ki Duk′s upcoming film, Actors are Actors.
He will thus be making his big screen debut with the film following his drama debuts with Glowing She and Late Blossom (I Love You) this year.
The decision tops off a busy year the singer has been having, what with his two dramas, the release of his second solo album Escape and his nationwide Japan tour.
Actors are Actors is the next piece by director Kim Ki Duk following his big win at the Venice International Film Festivalwith Pieta.

Kim Hyung Jun exposed his passionate attitude of a fan towards his big senior Lee Sun Jae.
When Kim Hyung Jun’s SBS Drama “I Love You” ended, he reiterated his infinite respect for the big senior Lee Sun Jae whom he acted alongside with.
Kim Hyung Jun also expressed that, “it is unbelievable yet amazing that when first drama ‘Sunshine Girl’ ended not long, immediately started filming for the second drama. The fact that I was able to act along with the Lee Sun Jae (선생님-teacher/sir) whom I like and admire, itself is something that I am very touched and grateful for”.
Also expressed his deep thoughts by saying “in this production beside senior Lee Sun Jae, I really spent a wonderful time with many outstanding seniors, learning things that money can’t buy. Being able to breathe together in this heartwarming production written by writer Kangfull, is really something that is unforgettable”.
He also did not forget to pledge his aspirations as an actor saying, “although I am still inadequate in many ways, but because of the warm attention and encouragement from viewers and support from fans, I was able to finished filming this production happily. There is still a long way ahead. There is a little satisfaction being an actor, and also experienced the charm of being an actor. In the future, please also look forward as I steadily grow as an actor.”
In addition, Kim Hyung Jun also stated, “After this production, plan to appear as a singer through the release of a solo album. In order not to disappoint fans who have been anticipating a lot, I am putting my heart and soul to the final touches (of the album), so please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hyung Jun revealed on Twitter, a proof photo shot he took with Lee Sun Jae smilingly during the drama ending party on June 4th as well as an autograph stating, “To Kim Hyung Jun, you must make your dream come true!”
