At one point in 2013, The Giyomi Song was super popular, and Kim Hyun Joong felt that he also needed to follow the trend for his fans.
Now that his version of The Giyomi Song is done and over with, Kim Hyun Joong talked a bit about what happened behind the scenes
Through the interview, Kim Hyun Joong said that the video was revealed first at his fanmeeting. “It was my first fanmeeting in Seoul since a long time, and I was wondering what I can do to leave a lasting memory, so I decided I would do The Giyomi Song.”
He added that the fans at the fanmeeting went nuts and absolutely loved it because they knew what a rare treasure the video was.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong will be returning with a new album on July 22.

[Article] Kim Hyun Joong Releases Hollywood Style MV ‘Unbreakable’
Singer Kim Hyun Joong returns with Hollywood movie standard MV ‘Unbreakable’, causing hot response from fans.
‘Unbreakable’ MV was released on 18th, is one of the songs from Kim Hyun Joong’s new album ‘Round 3′ which will be released digitally on 22nd July. ‘Unbreakable’ is a urban hip hop song combining both orchestral sound and Korea’s traditional instruments.
The lyrics “Hey ho, going in well’ also adds a unique touch Korea’s style. In addition, the song featured Jay Park‘s sexy rapping, which generates further attention from the netizens. The audio gives off a strong bouncing effect while visual gives off a chilling effect, as if you are watching a Hollywood blockbuster.
‘Unbreakable’ MV costs 300 million in production fees, with elements such as luxury cars, wushu, mask and eagle. Black, white and red colour contrasts also present an enriched visual, attracting more attention. Kim Hyun Joong dancing with a bare upper body is definitely another key attraction of the MV. Together with previously revealed teaser images, where he shows off his masculine body and tattoo, have caused a great stir among his female fans.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong to Release ‘Unbreakable’ MV on 18th July
Prior to the release of ‘Round 3′ on 22nd July, Kim Hyun Joong’s agency Keyeast announced that ‘Unbreakable’ MV will be first released on 18th July.
‘Unbreakable’ is a song that consists of heavy sound effects and elements of Korea. The song also features Jay Park, who sang the rap part. It was revealed that the MV costs 300 million production fees and is directed by the same producer who directed ‘Gangname Style’ and ‘Gentleman’.
Kim Hyun Joong’s 3rd mini album ‘Round 3′ will be available online on 22nd July, offline release will be on 29th July. His comeback is much anticipated from fans around the world since it is his first comeback after a long period of 2 years.

Kim Hyun Joong has been carrying on with the tattoos in the teasers for his upcoming album.
On July 17, five days before the release of his album, Kim Hyun Joong released another teaser image.
The tattoo is in the form of a traditional Korean goblin, emphasizing the mix of tradition and modern sounds.
A rep from Key East commented, "Expectations are high for Kim Hyun Joong′s album, which will contain powerful songs and sad ballads. Fans from Korea and around the world have been calling in with inquiries. On July 22, the songs for Round 3 will be released online, while presales will start for the offline album to be released on July 29."
Kim Hyun Joong will also release the preview track Unbreakable with its music video on July 18.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong Pre-Releases Track and MV on July 18
Ahead of his album release, Kim Hyun Joong will be showcasing a song and music video.
On July 15, KeyEast announced that Kim Hyun Joong’s new song and music video will be released on July 18 before his third mini album unveiling. The song will be revealed at noon (KST).
Also with the news, Kim Hyun Joong teased fans with a new image of his album, Round 3, showing a traditional Korean mask, or hahoe mask, inserting a bit of Korean culture to the album.
The Round 3 album will have featuring by both Jay Park and Dok2, as well as a large scale music video forUnbreakable.
It will be released on July 22.
