[Article + Vids] Kim Hyun Joong breaks down in tears while reading his letter, “I’ve only been able to watch fans fight”

Kim Hyun Joong has returned as a solo artist and gave a word of thanks to his fans with tears pouring from his eyes.

On June 7th, after his mini-album “Break Down” release showcase was over, he read a letter that he wrote from his heart to his fans.

He pulled out a letter and revealed his heartfelt feelings, “I’ve always been able to show my outer-self on stage, but I’ve never been able to show my heart to them. But I’ve finally gained enough courage to write this letter to share my feelings with my fans”.

Kim Hyun Joong read, “It’s already been 6 years since I’ve met every one. I thank you for believing in me and cheering for me all this time and never changing,” and he confessed, “I started looking back while I was working on the album. I realized how important the meaning of ‘together’ is”.

He continued, “I started feeling pressure and fear as I was trying to do this alone. It was hard to defeat this… I looked back over the past year, fans fighting and misunderstandings, only being able to watch over the situation made me think to myself, ‘I guess I have limits, too,” as his eyes started tearing.

He ended by saying, “I worked hard on the album by imagining how happy the fans would be looking at it. I hope that you will all be smiling and be even happier in the future.”

He added, “This album is not mine, but belongs to everyone. I’m very thankful to everyone that showed up here, and I want to tell everyone with my heart that I love you”.

Earlier on this day, Kim Hyun Joong performed his first solo title song “Break Down” at a showcase in front of 4,000 people.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong Talks About his Close Relationship with Bae Yong Joon

The ‘King of the Hallyu Wave’, Bae Yong Joon, made a surprise ‘voice appearance’ on SBS’s “Strong Heart“! On June 7th, Kim Hyun Joong made a guest appearance and revealed his close relationship with the CEO of his agency, Bae Yong Joon. He stated, “A while ago, I’ve heard that Yong Joong hyung went to Busan by himself so I went right away and stayed with him.” The singer also called Bae Yong Joong during filming, which he fortunately answered. Reportedly, Bae Yong Joon praised Hyun Joong and expressed his deep fondness for the star. [Vid] Kim Hyun Joong Releases Full MV for “Please”

Last week, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong officially kicked off his comeback preparations with the surprise teaser release for “Please“from his debut solo album, “Break Down“. He’s finally unleashed the full MV for “Please”, and it was definitely worth the wait!

Scenes were recorded at an indoor set on May 16th, and the entire production was overseen by directorJo Soo Hyun, who’s known working with TVXQ, Big Bang, and SNSD. Kim Hyun Joong was joined by actress Kim Min Seo as his special love interest.

On May 30th, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong revealed his official character, ‘U:ZOOSIN‘. The character will be used to represent Kim Hyun Joong and his posts on his official homepage and mobile sites.

A representative of KeyEast explained, “We came up with the idea of using an alien and adding a friendly touch. In addition to the charisma that he shows on stage and through his work, Kim Hyun Joong has a four-dimensional personality, which we tried to reflect in his character. We’re looking forward to the character’s growth as a much-loved image with both males and females of all ages.”

Ahead of the release of his titletrack, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong has released a surprise music video teaser for “Please“, officially kicking off his comeback preparations.

“Please” is a pop R&B track off of his upcoming mini-album and features a beautiful piano melody and a heavy orchestra arrangement that brings out the sadness of the lyrics.

His mini-album, “Break Down“, has been kept veiled for some time now, so this teaser is definitely garnering an explosive response amongst patient fans.

Actress Kim Min Seo stars in the teaser alongside Kim Hyun Joong, who departed from his usual image by sporting a shorter hair cut.

[News] Pre-Orders for Kim Hyun Joong 1st Mini Album to Begin this Week

 Starting on May 20th, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong will be opening pre-orders for his debut mini-album all across Asia through Hot Tracks, Yes24, Interpark, Aladdin, and other online music sites.

KeyEast Entertainment stated, “Kim Hyun Joong personally participated in the overall production of the mini-album, so it’s especially important to him. Since it is his first solo album, it will feature tracks that embody who he is as a person.”

They continued, “Once news of Kim Hyun Joong’s album was released, Korean and international fans began asking an endless amount of questions about it. Thus, we’ve decided to take pre-orders ahead of its release.”

After promoting as SS501′s vocalist for seven long years, Heo Young Saeng made his debut as a solo artist on today’s episode of “Music Bank” with his title track, “Let It Go“!

As it was his first solo debut stage, Young Saeng was buoyed by the presence of his SS501 group mates, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Kyu Jong who showed up backstage to show him their support.

Produced by Sweetune, the song describes the different ways men and women approach love, and the misunderstandings that result from it. Joining Young Saeng is 4minute’s HyunA with a rap part expressing the inner feelings of women although she didn’t appear on stage due to another schedule. This urban pop song has both a simple but strong beat with a combination of both ballad and dance and an upbeat chorus that brings out the best in Young Saeng’s sweet voice and HyunA’s powerful rap.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong Names His New Official Fanclub “Henecia”

 SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong has announced that the official name for his new fanclub will be “Henecia“!

KeyEast Entertainment opened a fanclub naming contest for fans to submit their suggestions to. Over 500 names were submitted, and fans were asked to vote for a final three. Kim Hyun Joong then chose his favorite out of the three and revealed that it was “Henecia”, a combination of the letter ‘H’ from his name, and the Latin term ‘benecia‘, which means ‘blessed’.

Through his official homepage, KeyEast wrote, “We will now be taking members for ‘Henecia’, the new fanclub that’ll promote alongside Kim Hyun Joong’s solo album.”

The fanclub was created under Kim Hyun Joong’s hopes of communicating more directly with his fans during his upcoming solo debut. Membership is open to not only Korean fans, but international fans as well, and various benefits will be handed out.

Kim Hyun Joong’s solo album is currently scheduled for release in the beginning of June.

 SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong has transformed into ‘Prince Charming’.

The idol was cast as the main character ‘Lee Shin‘ for the musical “Goong“. On April 13th, he finished the poster photoshoot for the performances in Japan, and unveiled his ‘prince look’ for the very first time.

Kim Kyu Jong donned a luxurious dress coat, and emphasized his royal position with his haughty facial expression and lax body language. Although his picture looks very arrogant, it’s said that he made the photoshoot atmosphere very bright with his funny quips and laid-back attitude.

After filming, the idol-turned-actor stated, “I received a lot of advice from TVXQ’s Yunho hyung, who played this role before. I worried a lot about being cast as the main character, but I was fascinated by connecting with the audience. It’s a little awkward now but I’ll present my own Kyu Jong prince, different from the past princes in the musical. [News] Kim Hyung Jun Completes Debut Album Showcase

SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun held his debut showcase, “1st Solo Mini Album Showcase,” at the Gaya Theater in Seoul.

Fellow member Park Jung Min and younger brother Kim Ki Bum attended the event in support of his solo debut, and watched on as he proceeded to perform his title track, “oH! aH!,” amongst other songs, as well as unveil his music video for the first time.

Through a short press conference with reporters, Kim Hyung Jun revealed his plans for his future activities, as well as the meaning of his album.

He explained that although “My Girl” seemed like a song about love, the album’s overall message was meant to express his desire to become closer with his fans. Kim Hyung Jun stated, “I know that working solo is hard, but it was thanks to the fans that were always there shouting for me and looking for me that I was able to choose this path, knowing that it will be difficult.”

His mini album will drop on March 8th, which will be followed by a large-scale promotion covering all of Asia.

[News] Heo Young Saeng to make solo debut this February

SS501’s Heo Young Saeng  finally revealed his plans for his solo debut.

According to his agency,B2M Entertainment , Young Saeng will be releasing a special album by February at the earliest, and hopes to officially begin his solo activities by then.

Representatives spoke with Star News on January 11th and revealed, “Heo Young Saeng will be taking his first step as a solo artist.  Since he’s the lead vocalist of SS501, he’ll be working with a strong dance track that showcases his powerful vocals.”

The singer is currently focusing on his album production while aiming to show his fans a different and deeper side to his voice that fans weren’t able to hear in SS501’s songs.
