Hallyu singer Kim Hyun Joong held the closing performance at a joint concert that was put together by various popular artists in China.
The concert was held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center on the 16th, and was a large event for 30,000 guests. The concert was streamed live through China’s broadcasting system, and was put on by artists such as Elva Hsiao, Fish Leong, Sammi Cheng,and Shirley Kwan.
The tour concert began in 2009, and it is actually a variety of programs put together for the enjoyment of the audience and the pasts concerts were quite successful. The past concerts were performed in major cities in China such as Shanghai and Beijing.
At the most recent show, Kim Hyun Joong’s closing performance was the highlight of the entire event, and he sang his heart out as he performed a total of three songs- “Breakdown“, “Please“, and “Kiss Kiss“. Fans from not only China but across Asia including Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong came to see Kim Hyun Joong perform.
An event manager remarked, “As soon as news broke about Kim Hyun Joong performing at the event, our ticket sales in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore as well as other cities suddenly sky rocketed.”
