Kim Hyun Joong is popular in Peru. He is on several magazine covers in Peru.
One popular magazine, Zona Joven, reported Kim as a top star. The magazine said Kim is the light of Korea and his popularity is out of control.
In addition, it said his role in the series, Boys Over Flowers, Yoon Ji Hoo was perfect for him. Another series, Playful Kiss, was not very successful in Korea but it was very successful online through You Tube.
Kim is currently on a promotional tour through Asia, but other countries, including, North and South America, and Europe want him to visit as well.
Kim’s agency said, “He is currently in Taiwan shooting the popular talk show, The Person. More countries are in the works after we tour Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines
