[News] Kim Hyun Joong Asks, ′Would it be okay for me to like you?′

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong has been making his mark in Japan since releasing his debut album in January, and, now, Japanese fans may be pleased to learn that the singer’s face will be popping up all over their TV screens.

According to a report published in Japanese newspaper Sankei Sports on February 23, the singer has signed on to be the face of aesthetics brand Slim Beauty House and will star in its TV commercials.

In the 15- and 30-second clips, Kim Hyun Joong peers into the camera with a serene expression and says, in Japanese, “Would it be okay for me to like you?”
We already know the answer to that one.

Kim Hyun Joong follows in hallyu star Jang Keun Suk’s footsteps as the second Korean celebrity to front a cosmetics brand in Japan. The commercials will begin airing on February 23.
