[Editorial] Kim Hyun Joong ; Star of the Week

This week′s Star of the Week was a no-brainer. Kim Hyun Joong, initially of SS501 fame, has risen to such hallyu stardom in recent years, that he′s the poster boy for being famous for being famous.

Of course, Kim Hyun Joong sings, dances, acts and by all accounts is a triple threat. But it′s primarily just his sheer charm that has allowed him to take over millions of fans hearts.

Kim Hyun Joong hasn′t been in the spotlight in Korea lately, though he′s been busy filming the drama City Conquest.

But it′s in Japan where he′s been making huge strides. Not only did his album Unlimited debut at number one on the Oricon chart, his special release event brought in around 6,000 fans.

Plus, come on - the dude has a wax figure that actually is slightly less good-looking than he is in real life. Is it any wonder that he′s our Star of the Week?
