[News] Kim Jae Wook to Act as Kim Hyun Joong's 김현중 Rival in ‘The Age of Feeling’


Kim Jae Wook has joined the cast of the highly anticipated drama KBS’sThe Age of Feeling.

Kim Jae Wook was cast in the upcoming drama The Age of Feeling, depicting a story of fighters from Korea, Japan and China as they deal in friendship, loyalty and love. This historical fiction drama will be set in 1930s and will be mostly taking place in Korea and Shanghai.


The actor will take the role of ‘Kim Soo Ok,’ an intelligent and artistic guy who loves music and art, and also Jin Se Yeon′s first love.

As Kim Hyun Joong falls in love with Kim Se Yeon, he will develop a rivalry with Kim Jae Wook, who is his best friend.

Keeping himself busy since his discharge from the army in April, Kim Jae Wook had recently starred in the tvN drama Who Are You, but The Age of Feeling will be his first time acting in a historical drama.

“I am nervous to be taking on a role in a historical drama, but I am also happy to be taking on this challenge. I am doing all I can to focus on creating a charming character for the drama, so please stay tuned,” said the actor.
