‘Barefooted Friends’ Steps into the Spotlight

Kang Ho Dong′s highly-anticipated SBS show,Barefooted Friends, began on Sunday night, kicking off another kind of travel variety program. The celebrity cast was dropped off in Mui Ne, Vietnam and told to live like the Vietnamese people, working for the same wages and surviving without any help from the staff.

The show began with a low 5.6 percent and received mixed reviews, making it a bit cloudy to see if the show will become popular.

On the other hand, MBC’s Real Man, which began at 7.8 percent, spurted up to 9.9, showing that more people tuned in to the second episode.

Meanwhile, SBS’ Incarnation of Money ended at 16.8 percent.
